Policy
This site contains a great deal of information about 30 Squadron RAAF.
Most of this information has been obtained through donated documents held in the archives of The 30 Squadron RAAF Beaufighter Association based in Sydney Australia. Other details have come through researching public documents available in published form, as well as extracts from the wartime Daily Diaries of 30 Squadron members.
Some information has been supplied by private individuals about their own family members who served in 30 Squadron.
Information obtained will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected, that is, to create as complete a history of 30 Squadron RAAF 1942-1945 as is possible, and then to make this information available to the general public both for research into Australian Air Force squadrons during WWII or for relatives or friends undertaking family history research.
The privacy of living persons is respected. Information supplied by individuals about their own relatives who may still be alive will only be publicly displayed on this website with the approval those living individuals.
Information such as your name as being the source of the documents or photographs supplied by individuals will be acknowledged on the website unless requested otherwise. Full address or contact details will not be shown.
Any personal contact information provided by you will not be passed on to any third party without specific permission from you, for example your phone number, email or home address.
Accuracy
Every effort is being made to maintain the accuracy of the information displayed. However visitors and /or relatives of WWII 30 Squadron members are encouraged to provide details which may correct any inaccuracies found. Visitors are also encouraged to provide copies of any 30 Squadron wartime documents or photographs in their possession which may add more detail to the squadron history than is currently displayed on this site.
